DRINKING THROUGH EUROPE GUIDE
It is finally vacation season and wow are we ready! Mentally we are already drinking a cocktail at the bars or spending money we don’t have on pretty things, but our outfits on the other hand, need a little work before we go. Trying to pack for a European vacation may be more stressful than our day jobs. Thankfully we’ve done all the work for you! Check out everything we wore during our latest travels to London and Amsterdam below.

Early morning international flights have us pushing through ridiculous amounts of exhaustion and thus we need to be in the ultimate cozies to survive. Yet we still hear our parent’s voices in the back of our heads whispering that if we look even remotely presentable, maybe we’ll be deemed worthy of an upgrade. So let’s make these sweatpants look elevated.

Because the first thing we are putting into our bodies when we touch down in London is caffeine and vodka. Gotta get the zooms going to beat the jet lag, cause god forbid we miss our first weekend night out due to exhaustion. Not only do we want to drink an espresso martini, but we want to look like one too. Here is how we are mixing our new favorite color combo: black and brown!

We are living out our Notting Hill fantasy in this cute tea-inspired outfit for the cold weather. Catch us aimlessly strolling through Portobello Market hoping to find our Hugh Grant vacation boyfriend. And if we just so happen to be compelled to take a quick photo by the colored houses, well at least we will look prepared.

The Pornstar Martini is undeniably our London cocktail of choice. So taking a note from the star of this drink, the passion fruit, we’re adding a little pop of red to this nighttime outfit. And hey, if this color gets us a little more attention than usual, then that is just a nice shot of champagne on the side!

Now we are usually more Bloody Mary girls but when you look this cute it would be an absolute crime not to order that cute fizzy orange drink. Forgive us if we just want to look utterly adorable in the morning for once!

An outfit for a nice dinner and a quiet(er) night. We are trying to chill out from all the planned activities, but it’s still vacation so alcohol and a stunning outfit are a must, and if we are being totally honest the chances we go home early are slim to none.

We cannot get enough Dirty Martinis lately. Is it because every time we open up Instagram we see the latest girls’ night with dreamy glassware and copious olives? Maybe, but we promise you won’t hear us complaining about it anytime soon. We have had so many of these dangerous beverages in the past month that we might actually become one, especially with this outfit.

We have to take care of ourselves after all that drinking and prepare for the drinking to come, so we are dressing comfy today. However, being comfortable does not mean being messy (save that for the clubs). Track pants are our entire Pinterest feeds lately and definitely our new go-to when it comes to a more casual outfit that is still so photo-worthy.

Obviously, if we are paying for an international flight we have to stop in more than one country. So after yet another travel day, we are going to need something a little stronger to keep us going and a hot outfit to pair with it. Gin and Tonic is a cool girl drink (as determined by us) and we have to look the part to charm all our new European friends!

Now we don’t drink beer often, but when we do we get pulled back to our midwestern roots. We grew up in Grand Rapids (Beer City, USA, apparently), so while we know less about lagers than we really should, we at least know how to look cute while drinking them.

After meeting all our new Dutch friends the night before it is time to make them show us the town and all the local spots. We already know it’s going to be a late night out dancing and we need to dazzle!

If you partake it is time to wake and bake my friends! When in Amsterdam this is the only way we are getting over our hangovers from the night before and after the bender we had, we need a little break before the final night. Again, this is bringing us back to our Michigan roots (yes, it is legal there) so we are pulling out the overalls for this particular vice!

It’s the final night and we gotta make the most of it. If you aren’t going right from the club to the airport did you even have fun on this trip? Kidding, kidding (maybe), but in all seriousness, we are dressing to the nines to properly commemorate all the fun we have had during our brief Europe stint that has absolutely changed our lives.
