What’s in my bag Guide
march 2025
We’ve all fallen down the YouTube and TikTok rabbit holes of “What’s in My Bag” videos. Sometimes they’re practical, sometimes a little peculiar, but always captivating. So, we decided to create our own version! Instead of showing you the random items floating at the bottom of our purses, we’re curating a lineup of it-girl essentials you should carry for each day of the week.
Starting with The Sunday Bag, we’re zoned in on our recovery from the weekend. Nothing is worse than starting your work week with a 2-day hangover so bad you have to wear sunglasses to look at your laptop. The Monday Bag shifts focus from “don’t throw up at work” to desperate skin damage control between meetings. Tuesday is usually our longest day, so when we pack The Tuesday Bag, we need all the help we can get to just make it through. The Wednesday Bag is for when we start to feel the effects of our radiators and, geez, do we need to exfoliate. Thursday is Solidcore day, or whatever workout class keeps you sane, so we need all the post-workout essentials in The Thursday Bag. With all the excitement of a child on Christmas Eve, we’re preparing The Friday Bag for the after-work happy hour that can't come soon enough. Then we made it to another Saturday! The Saturday Bag is peak happiness, with the coolest accessories and enough moisturizer to trick us into thinking we couldn't possibly feel as horrible tomorrow as we did after last Saturday night.
We’ve also partnered with Osea to highlight our favorite clean skincare products to have on hand for any free time you may find for self-care throughout your jam-packed week. Don’t forget to use our Osea discount code, MANOROF10 for 10% off!
The Sunday bag
Sunday scaries are feeling more real than ever lately, and your skin is definitely paying the price for your poor weekend decisions. Your bag is essentially a hangover survival kit. The necessities include Osea’s Ocean Eyes to combat puffy, dark under-eyes, thanks to our “just a couple drinks” pledge that turned into shenanigans happening far past our bedtime, and big sunglasses to help us make it from our apartments to the coffee shop down the block. Add in a mini pill case for the industrial-strength Advil we need to have accessible at all times, a juice to wash away all the hangxiety, and a 5-minute journal to reflect on why we decided to derail our sleep schedules after one margarita with a tajín rim. Pack all this into the perfect suede tote bag, and we’re ready to take those first painful steps down the stairs of our walkup apartment building out to the land of the living.

The Monday Bag
We made it to Monday, but we’re still trying to remove all the leftover makeup after the weekend. Time to be a functioning human, and we can begin that journey by packing Osea’s Ocean Cleanser to try to do some damage control in between the cruel amount of meetings we have scheduled today. This seaweed-infused cleanser is sure to help wake us up and give our pores some much-needed TLC. To bring a little joy to the start of your week, throw in some sardine pens and a croissant card holder that will hopefully entice tiny serotonin boosts every time you open your bag throughout the day. And since we definitely didn’t wake up in time for an everything shower, a mini hairbrush is non-negotiable and a green apple cherry Celsius to give us that extra burst of energy after dealing with the one coworker in the office who somehow returned from the weekend even perkier. Carry all of this in the woven work bag made for the office-siren, and you may just trick everyone into thinking you have your life together.

The Tuesday bag
Tuesdays were made to test us. It's the purgatory of weekdays- too far from the weekend to be optimistic, too early to justify calling in sick. We’re prepping for a full day of annoying emails and mandatory after-work activities. Although our skin is almost back to normal, we still have some work to do. Osea’s Hyaluronic Sea Serum will get us right as it smooths and firms our still-sleepy complexion. Throw in a seaweed snack and some nicotine mints because, with zero free time today, the last thing we need is hanger or withdrawals. We’re also adding a French hair pin and a compact mirror to help take us from day to night. No one wants to lug a giant work bag around, so we’re opting for a slightly smaller bag to protect our backs and our peace as we power through that never-ending to-do list.
The Wednesday bag
If you’re also an eczema-prone girly, you know what it is to fight with your apartment radiator. Why must they blast heat when it’s already over 60 degrees? Dry skin is our nemesis, and these wool work pants? Absolutely not helping the itch. That's why the Osea Plant-Based Body Brush is coming with us today. If you catch us bent over with our pant legs rolled up when we exfoliate in the work bathroom today, no, you didn’t. We’re also bringing the book Good Material so Dolly Alderton can give us a little mid-week pep talk and some tissues in preparation for the mental breakdown we feel coming on. Don’t forget your AirPods with an attachable leather case and some red nail polish for a little pick-me-up spa moment during your lunch break. Put this all into a classic black leather golf bag that will drag all the attention away from the existential dread in your eyes.
The Thursday bag
Thursday is Solidcore day, because who doesn't like to add a little physical torture to their weekday routine? Jokes aside, a workout can boost your mood like nothing else. Whether you’re squeezing it in before work, during lunch, or after clocking out, a quick transformation is required. We’re packing grippy socks (truly a game-changer at pilates), a big claw clip to convince ourselves our hair can last just one more day, and a mini water bottle. For post-sweat salvation, we’re bringing Osea’s Algae Body Wash to refresh our skin, and, obviously, an extra pair of underwear doesn’t require any explanation. The best part? It all fits in the cutest red pocket bag, so you can ditch that bulky gym tote for good.
The Friday bag
Friday is the most optimistic day of the week. No matter what today throws your way, you’re getting it done in record speed in hopes of ducking out early to truly maximize time at your favorite happy hour spot. This bag isn’t about preparing for the work day; it’s about preparing for life after work. We’re bringing Osea’s Algae Body Oil for skin so glowy and hydrated that your friends will be asking you how you look that good after sitting in an office chair all day. Throw in a metal gua sha to bring your cheekbones back to life and some red lipstick that is definitely not suited for weekday coworker interactions. In preparation for less work and more play, we’re adding a deck of aesthetically pleasing poker cards and a lighter keychain in the shape of a one-piece swimsuit. We’re packing this all into a mini crescent cow-print bag that is going to look perfect in any Instagram story and is proof you do, in fact, have a life after 5:00 PM.
The Saturday bag
You never know where a Saturday may take you. One minute you’re sipping Bloody Marys at brunch, the next you’re on a rooftop with your former waiter drinking martinis before sunset. You must be prepared for everything. Of course, we’re bringing Osea’s Undaria Algae Body Butter, because dry legs are not an option when wearing a miniskirt. Throw in some accessories, such as some square silver-framed glasses (not because you need them, but because they instantly elevate your outfit) and some fun silver hoop earrings instead of your everyday studs. We couldn’t leave the house without a lip balm that looks cool and perfectly glosses as well as a travel perfume for spontaneous plans that don’t allow apartment pit stops. Pack it all in a shoulder bag in this spring’s most coveted color. You might repeat last weekend’s mistakes, but at least you’ll be better equipped for the aftermath!
